This talk provided a practical, evidence-based overview of Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS) in performance horses, with an emphasis on real-world application across disciplines. We reviewed current rules governing the use of omeprazole formulations and other anti-ulcer therapies under USEF and FEI guidelines, helping practitioners and riders make informed, compliant treatment decisions.
